1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how DevXio ("DevXio," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website and the DevXio platform, including our predictive intelligence engine, XioPilot (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you connect an Amazon Selling Partner account to DevXio, additional commitments specific to that data are described in Section 4 below.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly: account details such as your name, email address, company name, and billing information (processed securely by our payment provider — DevXio does not store full payment card numbers).
Amazon Selling Partner information: if you choose to connect your Amazon account, we access information through Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API) — such as order history, listings, inventory levels, advertising performance, and financial reports — strictly with your authorization and only to power the features you've enabled. We do not access your Amazon account until you explicitly authorize the connection.
Information collected automatically: usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps), device and browser information, IP address, and cookies — described further in Section 5.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including XioPilot's predictions and the intelligence modules you subscribe to.
- To process your subscription, billing, and account management.
- To respond to support requests submitted through our Contact form or via email.
- To monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance and reliability of the Service.
- To send you service-related communications (e.g., billing notices, security alerts, feature updates). We do not send marketing communications without your consent.
4. Amazon Selling Partner Data — Our Commitments
Because DevXio integrates with Amazon's Selling Partner API, we make the following specific commitments regarding any Amazon Information we access:
- Purpose limitation: we access Amazon Information solely to provide the features of the Service that you have requested and authorized — never for unrelated purposes.
- No sale of data: we do not sell, rent, or trade your Amazon Information to third parties.
- No unauthorized marketing use: we do not use your Amazon Information for advertising or marketing purposes without your explicit, separate consent.
- Security safeguards: Amazon Information is protected using administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit and at rest and role-based access controls limiting who at DevXio can view it.
- Retention and deletion: we retain Amazon Information only as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law. If you disconnect your Amazon account or close your DevXio account, we will delete or de-identify the associated Amazon Information within a reasonable period, consistent with Amazon's Data Protection Policy for developers.
- You stay in control: you may revoke DevXio's access to your Amazon Selling Partner account at any time from within Amazon Seller Central, independent of your DevXio subscription status.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption, access controls, and regular monitoring — to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information and Amazon Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data as described in Section 9.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@devxio.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect information transferred internationally.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice (such as an email or in-app notification) where appropriate.
